Fairly easy to snap together. Some pieces took a bit of work, but eventually went into place. I'm not handy, but I could easily put this unit together. It comes with instructions, but I used a tutorial online which made it easier. It holds over 60 books, depending on the book size. Glad I bought it.
These types of shelves are all a little expensive in my opinion, but I was very happy with this purchase regardless. No regrets. Easy to set up. Not sure what the white gloves are for but I appreciate the thought. The shelf fits all my tbr books (which is about 54, but there are space for a few more, maybe 10 more)
